HD Tech? You mean PC tech. The past generations console benefit from PC pushing more up to date hardware especially GPU between the console's 5 year cycles. Now there are less reasons than ever to upgrade your PC and more people have moved to the less powerful (especially when it comes to GPU) laptops instead of desktops. So while the next consoles might have a little better GPU I doubt it will be a lot more powerful.
