I think people are sort of missing the big picture here. This game means a lot for the Wii's game library, and any game over a 9 average is obviously a very good game. Assuming it doesn't take a huge turn for the worse, this will be the Wii's 4th AAA (I define this is 9.0+) game in 1 year of being on the market. For reference, that's the exact same amount the 360 had in its first year (Now has 8), and 3 more than the PS3 currently has.

Another interesting thing is to look at is the genres of these games. The 360s 4 AAA games were GRAW (FPS), CoD2 (FPS), GeoW (TPS), and Oblivion (WRPG). The Wii has Twilight Princess (Action-Adventure), RE4 (TPS/Survival Horror), MP3 (FPS/Adventure), and SMG (Platformer).

In the first year of it's life the Wii has delivered 4 AAA games of different genres to its players. A very impressive feat. Especially for a system that is so criticized for a lack of games. Certainly the Wii for all its criticism is shaping into a very solid gaming machine for the "core" gamer. We can only hope it has the same success in its second year that the 360 had.
