This is definitely true, I saw this up for preorder in HMV and GAME today...saw the front cover too, it looks really nice, although there's an emphasis on pipes and background stuff more than there is on Mario and the characters, which seems odd at first until you realise it's artsy and slightly understated (although still bright and breezy, marioesque). I doubt US' cover will look like that though.
