1.) Uncharted 1, because it was a new IP, only sold a mediocre amount in the beginning. It kept selling, though, and reached above 2.5m.

True.

2.) I believe it reached this number because of A.) Bundle, B.) Lack of other good games on the system back when it was released, C.) Time (it's been in the market for 2 years).

A) It wasn't extensively bundled, just with the premium version of the PS3 in one region. B) Not really. Warhawk, CoD4, ToD, RFOM, Heavenly Sword were all released. Though I agree that the PS3 has a far better lineup now. C) True.

3.) Resistance 2 sold less than half of Resistance 1 because of those 3 reasons. R1 was pretty much the only real good exclusive the PS3 had back then, was bundled, and has now been in the market for 3 years.

Resistance 1 was HEAVILY bundled. The PS3 had NO other good games when it released, and furthermore, R2 sucked.

4.) Uncharted 2 could suffer the same way Resistance 2 did. I'm thinking that Uncharted 1's 2.5m sales is just like Resistance 1's 3m sales.

You shouldn't be.

5.) Modern Warfare 2 is on the same release window. Though they aren't in the same genre, people's $60 can only go to so many places. In some places, they can only go to one.

As I said, different genre, and COD4 launched alongside Uncharted. No effect.

I have Uncharted 2, despite the rave reviews, going for less than 500k first week, Possible, but I say around 600k

much higher than Uncharted 1, because it's a sequel and a fanbase has been created. However, because it's a sequel, the sales are going to be extremely frontloaded because the fanbase will buy early, so I don't expect any legs like Uncharted 1 had. I doubt it'll reach 2m. LOLWUT?

(Everything I'm saying is Uncharted 1 = Resistance 1, so Uncharted 2 = Resistance 2) Joke thread?

Might as well tackle it point by point, too.
