Nanzatips I agree with what you are saying to a degree. Zak and Wiki could be ported other consoles though. The game wouldn't be any good, but could be done. Putting a game like Zack and Wiki on a conventional controller would make what is a pick up and play Wii title into a 360/PS3 game that has control scheme that rivals Madden in overall complexity.

Anyone that has played Madden recently knows that depending upon which player you are controlling there is a different set of controls. This also changes depending on what side of the ball you are on. I.e. if you throw and interception with your QB the wide reciever you were controlling has his control scheme switch to a defensive backs controll scheme and the defensive back that makes the INT has is controll scheme switch to that of an offensive ball carrier.

That type of complexity would ruin Zack and Wiki. You'd have to have a comprehensive set of context sensitive controls to get Zack and Wiki to work on another console. Depending on the which item highlighted the controls would have to change. You should have to fight the controls of Zack and Wiki while also trying to figure out the puzzles. The outcome from that would just plain take the fun out of the game.

BTW Konnichiwa, Okami has been compared to Zelda since before the game was released. Zelda has been on the Wii since launch, how can porting Okami to Wii be as hard as bringing Zack & Wiki to PS3/360? Its an Apples to Oranges comparison.
