No he didn't. He said PS3 would win in the end due to Blu Ray.

leo-j youve been here long enough to remember when patcher spouted nothing but the ps3 would win right up until middle of last year his long term forecasts predicted that.  here is a goodie from you back in the day

My quote has nothing to do with the argument, and yes I did say that, the gap was  3.5 million and the ps3 was outselling the 360, I did not expect a $199 drop.

Either that episode or the one after pachter himself says the wii would take half the generation, and people would believe it won, then the generation would take a turn once the other two consoles reach the same price range of the wii.
