I think that a Wii pricecut would be similar to the 360 boost, but not the PS3 boost (as most people have viewed the PS3 as the most overpriced system on the market this gen and thus, avoided it) In the end, it'd take the PS3/360 to drop their top level SKU to $200 to actually try to give the Wii a run for its money, and if the Wii dropped to $200 anytime soon, it'd be the last nail in the coffin vs the HD systems. |
Pretty much. I'm mostly keeping my mouth shut because in the grand scheme of things, Nintendo with the Wii still holkds all the cards. While the HD twins are running out of cards to play.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
