2 Halo's in 1 year and another Halo next year is really milking the franchise though, don't you think?

Kind of like how there's a new Call of Duty every year.

Halo Wars was the best RTS on a console to-date, and we've seen the story as to how Halo ODST came about.  You had a team in-place, and they needed somethign to work on...bam...Halo ODST.  I don't think it's milking it, if the products are top quality, and deliver unique game play experiences.

I agree that Microsoft needs to expand Halo. Not like Mario or anything (I don't want Master Chief to start playing Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, then start making cameos in like Gears of War or something), but definitely expansion is a good thing. Halo Wars was a good start....but I have to disagree with what you described it as. "The best RTS on a console to date".

Civilization Revolution is rated better, yet it sold only a fraction of Halo Wars. You want to know why? You're going to hate it, but you're ignorant if you deny the fact that Halo Wars is the best selling (or considered close to the best, period) console RTS because it's called.....HALO Wars. If it was the same game with the same game mechanics, but had characters that weren't Spartans/The Covenant, it wouldn't have sold NEAR what it sold

Civilization is NOT a RTS. Geeeeeeeez....
