And I think it's the biggest ratio PS3 got in favour over the Wii, 9:1.
It seems that Nintendo isn't concerned at all that PS3 might start outselling Wii on a weekly basis, they seem to be standing still and unable to move, as if their lives were in risk if they tried to make the situation better. Really unbelievable. |
I think we have a few people on this site that might have to eat crow in the next 4 months :P
Now Japan Wii sales are going to rely solely on NSMB Wii because I honestly don't expect Wii Fit+ to have a different effect on sales than WSR did.....

Only NSMB? Are you forgetting, I don't know, a lot of third party games which will cause some good short term boosts?
As for PS3 SW, either a lot of PS3 owners just upgraded and/or a lot of used games were bought.

Well, we saw a few older games get slight boost in the VGC Japanese charts. Lots of older games went up 500-1k units. Being that these are older releases, it's surprising to see any of those copies being new.
