Notes:
I only ranked consoles I've owned/played to a large extent.
The PlayStation line had horrid reliability with the PS1/2 and the controller still sucks big time to this day. After all these years they still haven't fixed it. I have lots of other complaints about those systems, but whatever.
The SNES comes in at #1 due to the hours I poured into it and the great multiplayer games I had for it. The Wii beats out the NES because it got me back into gaming, and I can still play all the NES games for cheap, plus the Wii remote on it's side is like a NES controller. I also have more Wii games then I've ever had for any other system at this point in its life. The N64 was the vastly superior console at the time, especially in terms of 3D graphics, but I grew up on 2D and the N64 did take a huge hit in terms of developer support.
