1 How long have you been a member? What experience do you have in other forums, specifically gaming forums?
Been a member since late march '08, and I only have one other forum I hang out in (which happens to be a gaming forum), but that forum has mostly Xbox owners.
2 Read your first few posts, do you yourself think that your style has changed? How much?
I have changed, seeing as I was much more of a Sony fanboy when I first joined (not like some other members here, but much more than I am now. I was still rational though 
). I always focused on having reasonable arguments and good grammar though, so I haven't changed much in that aspect.
3 How often do you post a day? Has this changed from any other time period?
I've been posting steadily more and more over time, hitting an average of 7 posts (!) a day not too long ago. Then I moved out, to a place with no internet and I started going to university, so my posting has steeply declined over the last two weeks or so.
4 Answer the question in the thread title.
Probably, though whether or not the forums are the cause is another question. I've changed to become a gamer first and foremost since I joined, and I know for certain that that is 100% because of my time on VGC. I have of course also matured, so that probably helped me in that change.
