Come to think of it, I fail to see how Ken Kutaragi had anything to do with this. I doubt he stood up at a board meeting and said "Hey, let's make a Slim, cut the price by $100, and remove Linux support!". If he was still CEO, the Emotion Engine would be in every PS3, the PS3 would be floundering, at $400 or maybe even $500, and it would be awesome, but it would fail and drive Sony REALLY far into the red. It's for the best that Phil Harrison, and then Kaz Hirai, took over.
