Yeah...in order for a game to sell retail has to stock it. I think it'll have legs, though. Any game that gets above an 85 on metacritic will see a long life.
What I could see happening, though, is retailers scrambling to up their quantities for the game, then receiving large shipments in the coming weeks, only to have them sitting on their shelves since the buzz will have died down. Expect a price drop on the game by Christmas, either from Capcom or from retailers with too many copies.
Hopefully, I'm wrong and the game surprises even us.
