I'm starting to dislike Nintendo's attitude...

Their attitude of not screwing over the people who've bought it up until now?

No price drop means they're not screwing people over! That's some amazing spin. Wow... just wow.

I bought a PS3 for $699 Canadian.  They are now $299.  It's great for new prospective buyers who want the system but can't afford or justify the price., which is obviously what a price drop is targetted at.  Don't get me wrong, the PS3 was too expensive and needed to come down to a better price.  But of course I'm spinning, and my comment has nothing to do with the fact that it's now possible to get the exact same experience for $400 less.

I built a PC for $650 canadian last october. A comparable computer could now be bought for $500 with a CPU that runs cooler at the same clockspeed. Had I waited to buy one until now, I could have had better processor that runs cooler and a faster gpu for the same price, or built a PC that's just as fast as mine but better for $150 less. Anyone buying my aforementioned $500 PC is going to get the same experience as me, so that means I paid more for less. Compare this to your $700 PS3 that upscales ps2 games among other things that newer models don't do.

Those who make PC components or Sony are hardly screwing me or you over by reducing prices over time. You understood what you were getting into by being an early adopter.
