It's actually pretty simple. For these people, the gaming world revolves around the PS3 and the 360.
So when the Wii is much cheaper than the PS3, its better sales are explained. When that's not the case, Wii sales must suffer otherwise their worldview gets turned upside down.
Some people just need a bit more time to realize the majority of the gaming public doesn't care about the HD platforms that much.
