Its not that my router is 70 feet away from my tv. But i'd have to nail it along side the "strip"(?) (translation?), the wooden thingy that goes along the bottom of the wall. Otherwise i'd have to have the cable across the hallway and through the livingroom. My appartment is 775 square feet according to this conversion table: http://www.metric-conversions.org/cgi-bin/util/conversion-chart.cgi?type=3&from=3&to=11

To back him up I used a 100ft cable from my PC to entertainment center for video and audio from the PC. It travels around the outside wall of my apartment and over 1 door. It is only a 2 bedroom apartment and isn't large by any means, but the PC and TV couldn't possibly be farther apart

Anyways, you can buy an ethernet cable for dirt cheap especially if you can make it yourself, you just need to know someone who has the tool.
