Wii Sports, Hajimete no Wii, and Zelda (to a lesser extent) are the big sellers, and pretty much everything else has done poorly. Even the Pokemon game has severly underperformed (200,000 maybe, but that has to be the poorest selling Pokemon game to date). Excite Truck just tanked in Japan, and pretty much all third party titles have sold really poorly.
First off if you scratch off Wii Sports,Play, and Zelda you still have:
4. Warioware 321,000
5. Pokemon 209,000
6. Dragon Ball Z 2 82,000
The PS3's Best selling games are
1. Ridger Racer 7 129,000
2. Gundam Target in Sights 127,000
3. Resistence 110,000
So it's hard to say it's sales are poor especially in comparison to the ps3's software sales. In fact the Wii is selling 3 to every 1 ps3, but the software is selling 6 to 1.
I have to agree with stof, I do think too much was expected of VF5, I think that Gundam title coming next month has a lot more buzz and will be the first big ps3 game in Japan.
