Well... Gran Turismo is not Burnout so... I don't need damages in GT5.

Don't understand why people want it...

quite simple. I want a penalty for flying off the road at high speeds, or dragging the side of the car around a wall. Why play a race simulator that lets you slam your car into barrels and then actually finish the race?

I don't need super details for damage, but I expect at minimum

  • loss of steering control at varying levels
  • ability to lose a wheel
  • ability to lose spoilers
  • minor graphical damage to the body
  • ability to blow out the engine if you redline it all day long

much more than that and I don't care too much, but the lack of those is a major downside. I've played racing games and turned off the damage and it becomes faster to shoot across the grass in a corner and pick up a penalty than it is to take the corner properly.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
