The GBA is still selling well, but it's not coming back. I'm not sure were you saw the Micro selling for 39 CDN. Probably a sale? The GBA SP sells for $79 in the US and €99 in Europe right now. I don't think they will go indefinetely lower.
The real question is: What happens to the Game Boy brand? This is probably the most valuable brand in gaming, bigger than Playstation. They can't let that die. The DS successor will probably be called Game Boy again.
On PSP and DS prospects: Conventionally, the leading system will increase its lead in the 2nd half of the cycle. By autumn 2009 the DS might go from 40 to 90 million units or more while the PSP goes from 20 to 35 million units or less.
Hardcore gaming is a bubble economy blown up by Microsoft's $7 $6 billion losses.
