Star Ocean 4 is the same thing... terrible sales for a SO game, yet if they released a PS3 version it would have doubled, maybe even trippled the sales SO4 has now and definately made a tidy profit.

Or there's money involve and they couldnt break the contract. No company passes on money THAT EASY.
