After some of the Wii Ware games I've seen I can say it's possible as long as many textures, models, and sounds are reused. Often in platformers they are.
Either way it looks interesting and I'm digging the style I mean moving platforms are shadows brilliant. I think it would do better on Wii Ware with Nintendo promoting it like World of Goo.
