Demand is high, so someone who would have bought one in a store, but isn't there because you bought it, ends up buying it from you at a higher price.

Yes, that's how it works, and who can blame you for wanting to make some money...but I wouldn't expect to get any love and kindness from gamers or gift-buyers who would have rather you didn't do any of this and left the Wii on the shelf.
