After reading it, what he is saying is that professionals should make the content, not the users. I agree for the most part.

However, I also think he is trying to make a big deal about very little. He complains about Wii Music, and

"...Flip Book Studio, the new WarioWare DS where you ‘make’ your own levels, school girl fashion shopping software, and some other software I cannot remember."

Those are not exactly big, important projects. A DSiWare game, a DS game, and two things so unimportant that Malstrom himself can't even remember the name.
