Then why do they support the DS?
Companies like money, they didn't know how to make money with the Wii and they still don't know. Of course some people in the development community don't like the Wii, but that's because of what it's not. You're implying something that is really quite imaginary.
Most game developers love Nintendo and are developers because of them. And most business men in the third party world would love to love Nintendo, and they do love Nintendo. They simply haven't figured the Wii out.
