isn't it kinda stupid to sell the stand alone version for 3000 yen and the bundle for 8490 yen when you can buy the controller seperately for 2000 yen?

glad you point that out.  so it seems like the demand is low.  not because of people can't find the bundle as you can purchase them separately at a lower price.

this the way i see it: capcom offers 20-day free pass for MH3.  20 days later launch, used MH3 will be poured into the used game market.  the retailers have to get rid of overly stocked new games before then.  the clock is ticking......

are you sure the controller is available? It doesn't make sense otherwise. They would have a price drop on the bundle too if this was that case.

seems to me that they must have sold out of the bundles. No way they are putting a 3000 yen game on the shelf with a 8490 bundle that includes a classic controller that can be bought seperately for 2000 yen.

They are completely sold out of the bundles (console and ccp) at retail. Clearly, Capcom (or Nintendo) massively under-estimated demand for the bundle options...oops.
