But if that's true Neoraf why aren't 360 folks hyping it as already been asked before. Sure it explains why the ps3 folks aren't gaga for it but what about the 360 folks? Also clearly Multi does count for much as already stated again ala FF13.

There are like 8 360 fans on this forum and 10,000 PS3 fans.

We hype it. However, it's not exclusive, so it's not gonna get the same hype level on any console.

In case you haven't noticed, exclusives get hyped, multiplats usually don't.

As for FFXIII, and its multiplat status....well that's a Final Fantasy game, and the biggest gaming news from a third party in the last 10 years, and even its hype has dropped drastically since it was announced as a multplat, after the initial "In your face" from 360 fans.

If the PS3 fanboys are actively against you, you better be Final Fantasy if you want to maintain any word of mouth momentum on a message board.

Not "if it's true." It IS true. If Tekken was a PS3 exclusive, it would be hyped more. Probably much more. Sorry if you don't believe that.

I disagree. As I said, the announcement had the opposite effect on Final Fantasy, because it's a big series, and a massively hyped game. A multiplat announcement won't kill that hype. And it will get more hype from PS2 --> 360 owners- the game got 36 more points from people getting it on 360 (it got 160 points on PS3, but still). The majority of dual HD owners would get the game on PS3. A couple of fanboys were butthurt, but these people were far outnumbered by aforementioned 360 owners. Tekken 6 would certainly be more hyped if it was PS3 exclusive, because that's what us PS3 fans do, we hype exclusives. I admit it. Big games, like Modern Warfare 2 and FF13, get hyped no matter what, but smaller games, such as those in the fighting genre, need exclusivity.

Especially since the game was delayed to make a 360 version. The nerve of them! If the PS3 version is ready, RELEASE IT! Make it a timed exclusive! And because they've made that choice and other fighting games have arrived before Tekken 6, which were meant to launch after it, I would expect fewer sales on PS3 than if they had kept the original date. This will probably be offset by the 360 sales.
