I'm not sure what price I'd buy it; it would probably depend upon its software at the time. It won't drop lower than $500 this year, which means I probably won't buy it this year. There's a good chance I could get it once it's $400 if I see Blue Ray winning and if games like MGS4 impress the hell out of me. I think $400 could be when the PS3 really takes off, but Sony is still going to have to convince people paying the extra money is worth it.
