Actually, it does. Considering how much they alter the games. However, if you look at the reason they're holding the game back, its because of Square Enix of Japan, not because of the localization. Its most likely due to their total lack of focus on the game outside of Japan, and so they just put it off until 'next year' (which is after April). In many ways, this is the same time period I feel Dragon Quest VI is going to come out in Japan. And possibly FFXIII is going to be delayed to. So if Wadas comments are anything to go on, SE seems to be just putting everything major off till next fiscal year. Which is understandable, since they've had a pretty rough year (Bought Edios, Dragon Quest IX got delayed, many games didn't perform as well as they expected them to, etc). Don't worry, we'll have our horribly cockney'd and apostrophe filled version of Dragon Quest IX soon enough. |
Don't forget the uninspired and unnecessary name changes!
But seriously, with the aformentioned examples, is it any wonder Square's going belly-up?
