Who is buying Wii's? If you plan on buying a Wii say what consoles you have owned, and how many games you buy a year.

Who is buying a PS3? If you plan on buying a PS3 say what consoles you have owned, and how many games you buy a year.

Who is buying a 360? How many games do you have for it? How many games do you own? How many do you buy a year normally?

How many games you have total (guess)
How many games you buy a year. (give a guess)

I have a Wii... I'm the type that skipped console gaming totally after NES.  And I only own a Wii because it's something I can't do on the PC.

Games?  Half of them gifts.  They are: Warioware, Rayman, Monkey Ball, Elebits, NFS, TW 07.  Plus a ton of VC games.  Funny thing is, my wife is more of a gamer than I am; she's played through 2 VC Zelda and will play Zelda Wii at some point.  (I was hoping to get that as a gift but got Monkey Ball instead...)

And because of the Wii, I went out and bought a DS.  Actually I got one for my wife (back then fiancee) first as a gift (the Pink one, of course!!!).  Then I went out and bought myself a DS.  And now... we have like 10 DS games.  All the staples: Brain Age, New Super Mario, Elite Beat Agents, Phoenix Wright 1&2, etc.  Notably, no Nintendog

I didn't completely skip everything between NES and the Wii though.  I bought a PS1 a few years back, just to play DDR.  I bought it when the console cost $40 and the game with 2 pads cost $60.

No plans on getting a PS3 or and 360.  The only reason for the Wii is because of motion sensitivity.  The only reason for the PS1 purchase was DDR.

How many games will I purchase a year?  When there's one I want, I'll get it.  I don't play that many games, so money won't be an issue.  100% sure I'll get DDR Wii when it comes out!  Maybe Guitar Hero.  Maybe one of those Wii Health Pack... maybe Wii Music, but that's because I want my wife to have a better appreciate of music.

(Oh yeah, Guitar Hero should be platform neutral.)

the Wii is an epidemic.
