Undisputed uses Yuke's game engine, so I'm sure that's not entirely coincidental (being a mix of a WWE + fighting game). Re: slimebeast If you just like "fighting games" which I personally have enjoyed since the original Street Fighter, but have next to zero grounding in actual fighting competition, Undisputed is a very hard sell as it is extremely technical (particularly the ground game) if you really want to learn how to play the game like an MMA fighter. If you're not familiar with the line up of fighters (not a UFC or MMA fan) or you don't have an interest in MMA, you'd probably be better off playing Tekken, or SFIV or BlazBlue or any of the other arcade style fighting games. Undisputed has plenty of room for improvement, but it seems to be selling well above expectations already for what is currently is. |
I see. I like to watch the big UFC fights, but I dont really follow who has the belt etc.
It's surprising though that the UFC game is 'extremely technical'. Somehow I pictured it's the other way around. Maybe the boxing and WWE games are technical too compared to traditional fighting games?
