At what price would YOU buy a PS3?

So you wont buy a sony system because they want you to buy other sony stuff? Its not like they push things on you? That and the fact that even though for above reason you will never buy the PS3...but were willing to buy a PS1 and PS2? I have read the problems you had with the PSone and that you got one of the fist batch right? I guess i would have reservations about buying a system too if I had that many problems.

I would just like to add that it seems tha Nintendo is actually having a bit more hardware problems this gen than Sony and damn Microsoft is having a hell of a Problem.

 

I have no problem with companies wanting to sell me other stuff. Frankly all companies attempt to do this on a daily basis.

Thing is, Sony IS pushing something on me. They expect me to buy a Blu-Ray player when it has show little to no use for the current gen in gaming. One can attempt to argue it's use when the disc space is needed for future games...but we are no were near that level today, so the point is moot.

I'm about gaming. If Sony really was interested in me as a gamer, and not someone building their chances at winning the format war, they would have let me buy a PS3 without the Blu-Ray. As I've stated before, obviously Blu-Ray was more important to Sony than gaming as a whole.

Yeah, my first PSone had troubles, which the upside down trick worked for a small period of time, then it died. And I had to buy --three-- PS2's. Sony has a long history with me in regards to poor products.

I just recently found out that Wii had problems with an initial update immediately after launch. I  personally got my Wii three weeks after launch and have never had a problem with it.
