@ lordthenightknight, they are just copying Nintendo's successful strategy. However, the fact is, more people have bought HD consoles than Wiis, so if Nintendo and Microsoft are both pursuing the casual market first and foremost, and Sony are still offering superior graphics and much more power, Sony are going to benefit.
I don't think that they can beat Nintendo at their new game, I much prefer the idea of using a Wiimote or PSMote rather than Natal, but then again, I did not think they would be beating Sony at this point
