Why the PS3 will stay in 3rd the rest of the way

Do you have references saying the Xbox 360 will be on the market the shortest? And it's not uncommon for console makers to be developing the next console shorty after the current one is released.

If you go by how long Xbox was on the market Xbox will be the shortest. Also MicroSoft makes money by forcing people to upgrade. This is what they do with their software and they what they did with Xbox 1. As soon as the 360 come out they basically retired the old Xbox. Not good business IMO.

So Microsoft stopped manufacturing the Xbox to force people to move on to the next genereation? So I guess that whole bit about Nvidia ceasing production on the GPU is just a lie? So they could've continued making the Xbox and they decided to kill it and leave money out there? /sarcasm
