If you were Microsoft/Sony when you would release your next console and what price strategy would you use and technology? How would you triumph over Nintendo while actually making a decent profit especially compared to the last 6 years (by the time the next generation has any chance of starting)?
So what makes Nintendo in such a worse position than either of the 2 competitors? Nintendo has proven they can make the most powerful console and profit. They've proven they can make the most inovative console and make a profit. Maybe next generation Nintendo comes out with a true HD console (1080p capable unlike most games today that typically render under 720p and then upscale) with a price point of $250, some brand new motion control tech that is easy to use and more accurate and better suited for ever genre. Oh, and throw in some form internal memory. I'd buy that right away because Nintendo makes the best games
