as pointed out early, assets don't matter anyways. If the assets you own are only capable of producing goods that lose you money, they'll sell the assets as soon as possible if they don't see potential profits out of them.
Anyways, dunno001 wrote a great post. By and far Nintendo is the only company that I'm confident will make another console. You don't make billions of dollars in profit just to leave the market. You leave the market when you are incapable of making a profit (>$4B loss for sony, and ~$7B loss for microsoft). The two losers in the profit category are much more likely to leave the market.
