After playing The Conduit for about 30 minutes I don't even find the graphics so special. SMG for example still looks way better. They didn't push anything with that game.

graphics mean more then visual look. It includes physics.

Sure but people weren't talking about physics before the launch, they were talking about the visuals.

And I don't think that they are so special.

Their special to those people whom only own a Wii, a SD tv, a non gaming PC, and have never seen a HD game in action so this game looks great compared to the other games offered on the wii, I know it sounds like someone is  living in some weird cave or something, but I'm sure there are people who are exactly in this situation...so yeah to them this = very special indeed.

To me, you, and anyone else who games on a PC, 360, or PS3...no this isn't special at all, but then again we don't fit the criteria I specified above.

You (intentionally or not) completely miss the point.  I don't meet your 'criteria', either, as I own all current-gen systems and a 1080P TV.

I bought a Wii knowing full well that it was not as powerful as the other systems.  The reason I bought it was because graphics had reached a point last generation where I wouldn't mind only a slight upgrade as long as other innovations were implemented (the Wii remote).  Wii games should, on average, look as good as the best-looking Original Xbox games, and this hasn't been the case at all.

OT: I think it's probably The Grinder.  The graphics are much better than The Conduit's, with much more wide-open and varied environments, simultaneous splitscreen/online play, and potentially hundreds of enemies onscreen at a time.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
