Nintendo could have won easily had they not made the mistakes they made in the fifth gen.

I could say the same about the PS3 and this gen... and yet... nothing is for sure. Each console brought some sort of innovation that helped it to gain victory... or in the Wii's case, has a lion's share in its success.
