Unfortunately the concept of budget game and/or competitive price doesn't seem to exist in Europe, particularly for third-party games.


Mercury Meltdown Revolution is being sold at full price in Europe for €50. And don't even start justifying this with VAT or whatever: we're talking more than $70 here. Same crap for Resident Evil, unconvincing or inexistent discounts.

Nintendo games seem to be the only ones that get prices in line with american ones (I say "in line", because despite the dollar being particularly weak right now, we've grown to expect euro-dollar parity, no more).


Reality has a Nintendo bias.
