Maybe because... the game wasnt ready until recently? Also, we dont know what is happening with the PS3 this holiday, if the rumored PS3 slim or pricecut are to come... Gran Turismo 5 would be perfect for it. There could be a number of reasons really.
As for being smug... no i wasnt. Unless giving you a fact = being smug. Also, Forza trumps GT5 in so many ways... in your opinion.
