Sure, they could had included it, but the offline multiplayer may give an endless replay value to this game, so why a 7.5 for no online? I'm not talking about the overall score but the lasting appeal. They lowered the score because the lack of online but we know the first Wii Sports is still played today and will probably be played years later. Should a game that offers the best online experience but no local multiplayer get the same score in lasting appeal? Even if it offers endless replayability? I think not. Online or not, if they have tons of replay value then they should have a better score.
