Yes I do think that would have been coming out if the Wii wasnt as successful as it was, because the PS EYE released despite the EYE TOY not being very successful to begin with. The technology shown in the video also has very little to do with the Wii's motion controls.

The technology has been on the works for a long time ever since the original eye toy release, I really cannot predict if sony would release something like that into the industry, but for you to say they are holding this industry back is a hilarity(I am talking about the comment you left Garnett), and just shows how ignorant you can be.

In that comment, I said Sony holds the PS3 back, not the industry. Sony holds the PS3 back with bad business decisions, like price, and adding Blu-Ray when mandatory installs are already required for many of their games anyway(the games aren't even using the BR disc).

I didn't say Sony was holding back the industry, and I did say the PS3 was a great machine, being backed by an inept company.

That said, I highly doubt a remove with waggle, and buttons, shaped like a Wii-Mote, that detects 1:1 motion, would be getting a push from Sony like this is, if the Wii never existed.

I don't think anyone would believe that.
