| DKII said: How is 25 hours for $37 bad? You'd be lucky to get that much play-time from most full-priced games these days. My main complaint with "episodic" gaming is most devs haven't figured out that an episode is supposed to be a complete entity in and of itself, with beginning and end, not just a full-sized game cut into bits. It's like a TV mini-series made by taking a movie and just cutting it into semi-arbitrary 20-minute pieces and called them episodes. |
You and me may see things differently, but if you ask me if I would pay $37 right now for an almost complete rehash of FFIV with SNES graphics I wouldn't be happy with the idea.
I love the way it looks. I love that it is FFIV. I just do not like the price.
That is also taking into account that this is a cellphone title that has easily made all dev costs back, plus some and they still feel the need to price gouge.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
