Good luck recreating all the levels, power ups, superior gameplay, different and superior control, better platforming mechanisms, ENEMIES. You're not very good at math either. There was only one remake on it and 2 spin offs. There's nothing wrong with first party games, it's the reason I own my wii. Nintendo makes some games that are far superior then any other games I've played in my life. And yes I'm serious that New super mario bros. wii beats all of the upcoming games from the 360 and ps3. It will probably also outsell them all combined lol except the greatness that is the sales of Halo. But it will still beat it easily in sales.
Your last part makes no sense, you're implying that the wii only has one good game coming out. I said it has one game that beats everything else. All other wii games coming out are just overkill/teabagging. Ps: Seeing as you think first party games don't count(for a very strange reason) let's take away uncharted, Ratchet and clank, god of war and GT5. You're left with nothing then. |
I didn't say that first party titles don't count. It's just that Nintendo just reuses them over and over...and over again. Listing SMG2, Zelda, Metroid, etc as reasons why the Wii has better games than the HD consoles is like saying Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc are the reasons why the Gamecube (and coincidentally (wait maybe not) the N64) is better than the PS2 (and PS1). Sony's first party continually makes new IPs. So does Microsoft. And with the diversity and quality they both have, it's hard to even call it "competition" with Nintendo, nowadays. If 20 years down the road, Sony is still making games about how Nathan Drake finds treasure along with Sully and Elena, then I will say "staple Sony first party titles are not the reason why the PS(insert number here) is better than (insert other console)", especially if the situation is that in the previous generations, those staple games didn't allow it to overcome the competition (once again looking at the Cube and N64. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. didn't stop the PSs from trampling on those systems.)
