How did Far Cry 2 even manage to get moderately positive reviews?

Well, I certainly liked it a lot.

well if you like crappy AI Guards that ignores you if you just simply press X after you killed half the towns population , or if you like the games repetitive , go there do these mini games to start the actual level type of game , or if you like killing someone and he talks about his story which you barely care about , or if you like that the whole game is only 3 towns that you do the same stuff in over and over and over, or the crappy ending which makes you feel that the whole game is just a promotion demo/beta to the sequel....

i can't see why anyone would like that game...
