It is typically made without alchohol, but some are made with alchohol or used as a mixer with other alcoholic beverages.
No, I've never heard of Blue Moon beer. I'm not much of a beer person (like your Bud type beers) but I would probably like some of the more interesting beers if I ever got around to trying them.
