I do believe that 1943 will use an updated version of the Frostbite engine used for BF:BC, so buildings will be fully destructible, unlike in BF:BC.

And I am looking forward to 1943, if only because I miss some good BF action. Of course, I used to play all my Battlefield with 1942 at LAN events, so I'm not sure just how great this will actually turn out to be for me... I still haven't decided to buy it yet though...
