The 360 is on a serious roll right now, so no its not underachieving at all... there are some things that keept it from booming even at an extremely low pricetag ( Nintendos more casual Wii, recession, old hardware issues, not so powerfull brandname in places like asia and europe as in the US etc. ).
Overall its doing great, though its rivals could potentially do even more witha similar pricetag...
