I can't really say I'd be excited for a Kid Icarus game... I mean there comes a time when Nintendo has to come up with original ideas and stop rehashing IPs from over 2 decades ago simply because a tiny fraction of their audience has a bad case of nostalgia.
No one but the hardest of the hardcore Ninty fanboys would be interested in a game with "Kid Icarus" in the title... personally I'd be much more interested in a new Pikmin, because that is a much more well known franchise today, and there's tons of potential for it on the Wii with the motion controls and pointer interface.
