Rumor: Marvelous porting Wii game to PS3/360

I laugh heartily at anyone who thinks the game going to the 360/PS3 will be upgraded graphically. Expect achievements/trophies, but don't look for anything grander than HD support for the exact same graphics. I don't know why any of these games being on the Wii is such a problem for people.

And what's with people in this thread being so in love with the idea that the PS3 is a haven for every Weeaboo niche game? For the love of god its not like any game being put on the Wii by Marvelous comes even close to pushing the Wii to its graphical limits. Yet you think they can magically double the graphical output at no cost just to make a notable difference for weeaboo PS3 gamers?

Newsflash, Japanese oriented games sell terribly on the HD consoles. You know why? Both HD consoles are aimed almost exclusively at western subnormer gamers. Sure the PS3 is a little more classy and artsy about it, but there's a reason why the PS3 isn't getting its own Tales of game where as the Wii is, there's a reason why the PS3 isn't getting a Monster Hunter where as the Wii is, there's a reason why the PS3 isn't getting a Dragon Quest where as the Wii is. The only thing the PS3 has going for it is the Last Guardian (which good luck getting that game to sell on the fairly obscure notorioty of Team Ico) and FF13 and FF14 (which both harken the imminent fall of any remaining respect the industry may have for Square-Enix).

The PS3 is not the artisan high quality console people keep trying to tell themselves it is, its just a more pretentious and expensive jock gaming platform, boasting Western targeted franchises with handful of Japanese targeted franchises it still has bomb in sales.

Stop acting like its such a damn insult to see a game with any integrity put on the Wii. Like you don't have enough damn games on the HD consoles as it is, god forbid the Wii actually have a game you want. Maybe you should be worrying first and foremost about the decline and worrisome sales of Japanese targeted franchises on all platforms rather than which one your PS3 gets.
