No mini games but in general they both have a pretty sterile world but the bosses are what make them good.  Twilight Princess is kind of that way too but it has dungeons and puzzles too...

but what you are doing is implying that since it has a similar basic design to those games that it deserves to be looked at as the same quality.  I haven't played it, but a game has to be pretty amazing to stand up to that kind of company.  Like, best of its genre on the Wii bordering on the quality of Zelda kind of game.
